Various types of sensors, perceiving oscillation, temperature or sound with other objects, are required to implement intelligent systems in smart homes. The time, space, and economic cost of calibrating such sensors in an actual environment are relatively high. These costs can be reduced by simulating the activity of the sensors in a virtual environment prior to their implementation. Thus, the construction of a 3D environment is vital for accurate and intuitive simulation of the actual environment. This paper proposes a framework to simulate sensor activity that does not require the sensor simulator developers to have any knowledge of the 3D environment. |
